Administrative Assistant to HR, Clinical

Description:Perform secretarial and clerical duties and provide information, documents and assistance to Human Resources, Clinical Administration, other departments and the general public.

Duties:Compose correspondence and other documents in standardized formats Verify and correct grammar and composition as required.

Index and file correspondence, reports, minutes and other materials. Maintain official records for the District utilizing electronic storage or other appropriate retention standards.

Assist HR manager, CNO and CCO in monitoring and preparing evaluations for staff. Coordinate orientation schedule for new hires. Prepare benefit enrollment, set up employee record in Healthland.
Assist HR Manager with the preparation of HR reports, wage surveys and other documents as needed.

Coordinate Medical staff committee including, credentialing of providers and clerical support to Chief of Staff.
Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of modern secretarial and general office principles, practices and methods, English, spelling, composition, punctuation and grammar. Knowledge of business and/or legal formats, recordkeeping systems, word processing and spreadsheet applications software. Equivalent to a high school education plus additional secretarial training and over three (3) years experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.

Prefer experience in a medical envronment.
